Partners contribute facilities, technical services, equipment refurbishment, delivery, donation drop-off locations, assistive technology reuse, and community outreach.
How the Partnership Works
REquipment, Inc. is a private nonprofit organization that operates the MassMATCH DME and AT reuse program through a contract with United Cerebral Palsy of Western Massachusetts.
State Agency Partners
Massachusetts Rehabilitation Commission
The Massachusetts Rehabilitation Commission provides the funding that supports the statewide reuse program.
Department of Developmental Services
The Department of Developmental Services supports reuse operations in Worcester, including a reuse facility and a full-time technician.
Department of Public Health
The Department of Public Health supports reuse operations in Canton through Pappas Rehabilitation Hospital for Children.

United Cerebral Palsy (UCP) of Western Massachusetts serves several roles within the program, including providing the assistive technology reuse component and supporting services in Western Massachusetts.
Stavros Center for Independent Living
Stavros Center for Independent Living in Amherst refurbishes and delivers equipment.
Southeast Center for Independent Living
The Southeast Center for Independent Living supports REquipment in New Bedford, serves as a donation drop-off location, and provides community outreach.
Independence Associates
Independence Associates supports REquipment in East Bridgewater, serves as a donation drop-off location, and provides community outreach.
Disability Resource Center
The Disability Resource Center supports REquipment in Salem, serves as a donation drop-off location, and provides community outreach.
